The International Cricket Conference (ICC) has scheduled several matches for Afghanistan as part of its Future Programs (FTP) for the 2023-2024 season.
Afghanistan is scheduled to play a doubles match against Sri Lanka in November 2022 and early 2023, Afghanistan will travel to the UAE for more matches. In March 2023.
Afghanistan may play Pakistan when they visit Pakistan in March, but details of the series have yet to be revealed.
In June 2023, Afghanistan will visit Bangladesh in another bilateral meeting announced under the ICC FTP program.
The 2023 Asian Cup is scheduled to be held in Pakistan or Sri Lanka in August-September 2023 and Afghanistan is required to participate in this tournament.
Finally, the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be held in India from 10 October to 26 November 2023 and Afghanistan is expected to attend the prestigious event.
